For 17 nights - 30 June to 16 July, the Tongariro North Domain will be transformed into the Mercury Light Hub and it's set to be a magical winter experience ! We❤️ winter in Taupō!

Food trucks and Le Pine & Co Local Live Music sessions every night till 8.00pm - keep an eye out for information on our Open Mic nights too. There'll be giant light sculptures, glow in the dark candy floss and much much more. Don’t miss this wonderland of colour and sound that will spark your imagination and create forever memories.

The Tongariro North Domain will see the lights nestled next to the Wairakei Estate Ice Rink and the MB Century Ice Slide, creating the perfect winter evening experience.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
